We reconfigured and refinished this 2,000 sq/ft basement, expanding the entertainment area and other functional spaces. Adding an LVL beam to create an opening in the support wall allowed for a game room at the bottom of the refinished stairs. The game room features custom built in cabinetry for storage. On the other side of the stairs, a room was removed to create a bar area with walnut cabinets, stone backsplash with arched TV nook, and granite countertops. The light wood-look tile floors, raised ceilings and recessed LED lighting brighten the space. Unique iron pipe storage is featured in the exercise area and closet. A ventless gas fireplace with stone facade anchors the corner between the game room and TV room. A bedroom was created at the walk out corner, along with a small art studio.
